A good start is half the battle!

A client of career counselor Jan Blom worked in facilities management at a large organization. He had become redundant in his organization and knew he could not stay there for long. A three-month track was taken.

Outplacement counseling

The gentleman had come to a place where it didn't quite click, in the hard services department of the facilities profession. He is someone who is much more familiar with the soft services (moves, remodeling business spaces, etc.).

In particular, the client needed guidance in conducting a conversation and presenting himself. This is where we spent a lot of time. He was given information, we role-played and he learned how to look into a company very well and gather information about the company. before going into a job interview.

This did him no favors. He knew very good job searches and had several interviews. He got better and better at presenting and at one point after about three months, he was able to choose from three different companies. He was in great demand, partly because of his good track record and great motivation. He indicated that he was very happy with the guidance he received from us. He got a very nice job out of it.
