For two years there was a subsidy for working people aged 45 and older to coach them in taking their own direction on: their vitality and sustainable employability and their relevance for the employer and labor market, now and in the future. We did numerous sessions during this period, and saw that the effects were so positive that now that the subsidy scheme no longer exists, we have developed a paid - and affordable - version: the Career APK.
Who is it for?
Although anyone can benefit from this service, it is particularly suitable for:
- Workers with heavy occupations and one-sided work histories (construction/home care/logistics);
- Workers whose jobs may disappear or undergo a sharp change in execution (transportation, manufacturing, retail);
- Employees who resume work after a long period of illness;
- Workers with poorly maintained vocational skills;
- Workers in cyclical jobs;
- Employees who rarely, if ever, get career advice or career coaching.
Outline program
The "Career MOT" begins with a telephone interview and the submission of a completed questionnaire and CV. Then various tests and insightful exercises are prepared for the candidate. Once the results are in, a session of approximately 2 hours is scheduled to extensively go through all the information. and combine with relevant and labor market information.
We use the House of Work Capability (https://huisvanwerkvermogen.nl...). The Help questions, tests and the coaching result in a customized development advice.
What is the result?
The result is that the employee has gained insights to actively work on his or her vitality and career. The employee may approach the employer for a targeted request for help. The employee's attitude is no longer passive and waiting, but active and goal-oriented.
