From profit to nonprofit

Career counselor Janine Verboven successfully placed two employees of a large accounting firm in the nonprofit sector.

Both cases involved breakdowns in personal and social functioning in which the ladies, in consultation with the employer, decided to move in a different direction. Both switched to jobs as financial advisors in the non-profit sector.

The first employee transferred to the Municipality of Eindhoven and the other to the Elkerliek Hospital.

Unfortunately, the woman placed with the hospital dropped out after the probationary period and signed a settlement agreement in consultation with the new employer. By mutual agreement, though, because she may come back when she can handle it again. She is a mother of two small children who had made too much hay over the past few years and was unsure of her own abilities.

She now knows that the job at the hospital suits her well, and so she can come back. That's how it can be done, fortunately!
