Bart focuses on really learning how to apply for a job. In his programs, he works towards learning how to conduct full-fledged job interviews and plays this out with his clients during various sessions. Besides learning from this, it also boosts confidence. Bart also tries to coach mainly on what someone can do well and does not look so much at points of improvement. He believes that (especially in projects with older people) it is better to focus on what someone is good at and what makes them stand out to a potential employer, than to pay a lot of attention to things you might still want to learn... without losing sight of the fact that everyone has development points.

Bart tries to distinguish between online and offline networking in his courses and also explains social media, especially LinkedIn, in courses where it is applicable.
